Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a twelve-month, tenure track Associate Professor or Professor of Nursing and Associate Director faculty position in the WellStar School of Nursing which begins July 2019.

The WellStar School of Nursing seeks applicants for the position of Associate Director. This is a 12-month, tenure-track position. The Associate Director reports to the Director of the WellStar School of Nursing which offers BSN and MSN degrees. Responsibilities include oversight of the skills and simulation labs, and management of assessment and evaluation activities for the purposes of program development, accreditation, and student achievement. Teaching responsibilities may be in undergraduate and graduate and courses. Other responsibilities include participation in ongoing curricular assessment, scholarly activities, and service in departmental, college, and university committees. Successful candidates will possess: 1) an active Georgia license or be eligible for a Georgia registered nurse license, 2) previous teaching and administrative experience in nursing education, 3) a commitment to maintaining an ongoing program of research, 4) demonstrated high-level of interpersonal skills for communication, consultation and collaboration, 5) a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and 6) demonstrated forward-minded leadership and ability to inspire and mentor faculty.

Research-focused doctoral degree in nursing or a related field, or the foreign equivalent. Candidates must possess a master's degree in nursing or its foreign equivalent.
