Assistant Professor of Art (Tenure Track)

The Department of Art and Art History at Albion College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Art with an expertise in printmaking. The ability to teach courses in drawing, two-dimensional design, book arts, classes related to graphic design, or other related fields is desirable. The appointment will begin in August 2019. An M.F.A. and minimum of one-year of college or university, teaching are required.  

We are an innovative art and art history department with an emphasis on interdisciplinary teaching and learning. The successful candidate should demonstrate potential for excellence in and enthusiasm for teaching, active creative work, and a commitment to student advising and support. We seek candidates with the ability to teach and mentor a diverse student body as well as an interest in teaching classes ranging from first-year seminars to upper level seminars and honor’s program courses. 3/3 teaching load.
