The Department of Physical Therapy, School of Health Professions, University of Missouri, invites applications for a full-time, 9 or 12-month non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor. The applicant must be an excellent teacher and clinician.
• Assist the lead adult neuro and pediatric faculty members in instruction of coursework; other teaching, service and scholarly activities according to department need
• Treat patients with adult neurological rehabilitation needs (as a clinical instructor) in our pro bono clinic 10 hrs a week; other options for clinical practice exist
• Preference given to individuals willing to teach wide-ranging coursework including basic science and foundational clinical skills.
Appointment will begin as early as Summer Semester 2019Qualifications
• Licensed or eligible for PT licensure in Missouri
• Earned terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, etc)
• History of practice in neurological rehabilitation
