WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY'S Writing Program in the Department of English invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor position to begin July 1, 2019. We seek a candidate with a PhD in Rhetoric & Composition or a related field, who specializes in the rhetoric of science. Primary responsibilities will include pursuing an active research agenda related to writing in STEM fields, and designing and teaching upper-level and first-year courses in Wake Forest University's expanding Writing Program. We seek candidates with a strong record of research and teaching; additional experience and/or interests in first-year writing and English for Specific Purposes are welcome.

Salary is competitive. Teaching load is 2-2-3-2. Candidate must have PhD in hand by the end of summer 2019. Initial interviews will be conducted via WebEx in early January. For more information about the Writing Program, visit http://college.wfu.edu/writingprogram/
