#013-19 INSTRUCTOR TO ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (CRITICAL THINKING)
The University of Guam is looking for an individual who is interested in new challenges and opportunities for professional and personal growth. The Division of Humanities includes Anthropology, Chamorro Studies, History, Modern Languages, and Philosophy.
CHARACTER OF DUTIES:
Teach five (5) Critical Thinking courses per semester, coordinate the schedule for all of the Critical Thinking courses, and coordinate the learning outcomes assessment for critical thinking. Teaching other undergraduate courses, summer work may be available.
Minimum: Master’s degree in Critical Thinking, Logic, or a related field from a U.S. regionally accredited institution or foreign equivalent for appointment at the Instructor rank (and Ph.D. in a related field from a U.S. regionally accredited institution or foreign equivalent for appointment at the Assistant Professor rank). Must be willing to teach online.
Preferred: Some familiarity with the Philosophy for Children (P4C) is a plus. Experience working with online learning programs.
