Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required, focus in Marketing, Journalism and Mass Communication, Computer Science, or related field strongly preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Minimum 3 years required, 5 years strongly preferred, in marketing or communications, including strategy and execution of digital marketing campaigns, website development and social media channels. Well-qualified candidates will also have strong knowledge of digital marketing analytics, experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce or Eloqua), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), email marketing, digital advertising, marketing program project management, Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) planning, strong leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and is highly self-motivated.
License or certificate:
This position will report directly to the UW Madison, College of Engineering's Director of Marketing and support efforts to effectively position the College of Engineering to multiple audiences including peers, alumni, prospective students and faculty along with other stakeholders.
