Job Summary

The University of Colorado Boulder Campus is welcoming applications for a Buff OneCard Office Assistant. This position assists with point of service operations as it relates to card production, identity services, and access control. Primary duty will be as front line staff, assisting customers obtaining Buff OneCards and typical access needs. They are responsible for fielding customer questions and service requests via phone, email and in person, including lost and found, card requests and trouble tickets. To help the Card Office be a more integrated "one-stop" customer service center, this position assists as a liaison to external departments for special projects and requests. They assist the Card Program Assistant in the annual process for conference card creation and management. This position reports to the Card Office Business Manager and coordinates with the Campus Card Office Manager, Campus Card Director and Integrated Security Systems Manager to insure the smooth delivery of services to customers.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Campus Card Front Desk Operations

Staff front desk for the Campus Card Program producing ID and RTD cards, and handling Campus Cash and account management. Keeps office stocked, clean and inviting. Advises on procedure manual and keeps it up to date with new and revised policies and procedures. Responsibilities include training student staff to assist customers needing assistance with carding or door access needs, setting the example for outstanding customer service. In coordination with the Campus Card Program Business Manager, they are responsible for managing the office POS register, balancing out the register and credit card terminal daily and making deposits through the campus financial system. They act as backup for the Campus Card Program Business Manager when they are not available and assist with the creation of special cards.

Conference Card Process

PosAssist with the summer conference card process. Working with the office manager, responsible for creating conference cards as needed. Responsible for understanding conference card tracking system. Position will help create conference specific meal plans and keep PCS updated for current plans, and will work with office manager and Conference Services for any plan or access changes as needed. Position will be responsible for troubleshooting access issues as they relate to these cards.

Maintaining the Program Website

This position is responsible for assisting in managing, editing and updating the Buff OneCard program website to ensure the information presented is current and correct. They manage all support and troubleshooting including responding to reported problems and escalate issues to the website vendor and Program Director when they cannot be resolved. They manage questions and information requests that come in via email and telephone regarding the site responding as appropriate to the questions or request. They will work with the Program Director regarding the strategic direction for site changes, new functionality and site enhancements.

Marketing Publications

Works with Program Director and other stakeholders on any special publications or marketing. Works with HDS marketing department to develop brand-specific publications and marketing techniques.
