PhD in Physics or foreign equivalent degree in hand by September 2, 2019. Experience either at the graduate or post graduate level in Theoretical Nuclear Physics. Detailed knowledge of analytical and numerical techniques.

Brief Description of Duties:
The Postdoctoral Associate will assist the Principal Investigators in the department of Physics & Astronomy. The Stony Brook Nuclear Theory Groups is ranked among the best in the country and currently consists of permanent members, D. Kharzeev, E. Shuryak, D. Teaney, J. Verbaarschot and I. Zahed. This Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the department of Physics and Astronomy and will participate in theoretical research in Nuclear Physics. The incumbent will conduct research following the policies and procedures of Stony Brook University.
- Within the predetermined research scope and methodology, conduct research in theoretical nuclear physics with emphasis on non-perturbative QCD. QCD at finite.
- Work with graduate students for collaborative research.
- Carry out analytical and numerical computations.
- Participate in Many-body theory discussions and seminars.
- Other duties as assigned, which may include attending Scientific Conferences and Meetings.
