Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's Degree required. Bachelor's degree in Genetics, Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, or related field preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Prior work experience in a research laboratory such as DNA subcloning, Tissue culture, Real-Time RT-PCR, Western blotting, Retroviral transduction, and Flow cytometry is preferred.
Mouse work experience including genotyping, animal husbandry and experimentation is preferred.
License or certificate:
A Research Specialist is required in Dr. Lixin Rui's lab in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. The successful candidate will join a program of translational research investigating B-cell malignancies.
