Position Information
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Development for UC Riverside's College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, the Development Coordinator will implement specific plans for fundraising and alumni relations programs and activities. This position provides support for the relationship building and fundraising efforts for the college. This position will coordinate fundraising programs and events, work with front-line fundraising staff, faculty and students, volunteers and other university staff in establishing and maintaining relationships with all university constituents. The Development Coordinator will also provide event support to the office of the Dean and provide administrative support to the College's development staff.

Minimum Requirements
Working knowledge of fundraising, donor relations and public relations concepts, principles, procedures and techniques.
Good written and interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain good working relationships throughout the organization and with outside constituencies.
Working knowledge of the location, its vision, mission, goals, objectives, achievements and infrastructure.
Skill to maintain confidentiality.
Working knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, etc.
Good organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
