Job description

Duties: To perform biochemical, cell biological, genetic (in Drosophila) and high-throughput experiments to investigate basic mechanisms of RNA biology, including but not limited to small regulatory RNAs, RNA decay, translation and RNP assembly and function. To assist with grant and manuscript writing. To assist with general laboratory duties.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: PhD in biology and a minimum of 5 years of postdoctoral experience. Expertise in Drosophila genetics, RNA biochemistry, RNA-Seq, CLIP-Seq, tissue culture and manipulation is essential. Prior publication record as first-author or equivalent in relevant RNA topics in peer-reviewed journals is essential.
