Temporary Adjunct Faculty in Pathology
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kentucky is seeking a temporary faculty member to provide clinical services in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at UKHealthCare's two hospitals on the Lexington Campus, Chandler and Good Samaritan (primary location). This is a six-month assignment, and the candidate would be expected to provide clinical teaching to residents and participate in scholarly initiatives of the Department and the College of Medicine and may assume administrative efforts as needed.
Teaching responsibilities include teaching and supervision of residents and fellows, and scholarly activities will include those that are expected to contribute to the scholarship of integration and application. The scholarship must be of high quality and support collaborative clinical trials and clinical investigations. Clinical responsibilities will include serving as an attending physician on anatomic and clinical pathology services. This position will also serve on applicable Hospital, College of Medicine, and University committees as assigned.

Required Related Experience
Fellowship training or comparable experience in surgical pathology and fellowship training in cytopathology.
Required License/ Registration/Certification
Certification by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic and clinical pathology and certification or eligibility in the subspecialty of cytopathology and fellowship training or comparable experience in surgical pathology.
License to practice medicine, or the ability to obtain this license, in the state of Kentucky
