A postdoctoral scholar position is available in the lab of Dr. Christina Holmes in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University-Florida State University College of Engineering. We are seeking a highly-motivated researcher to work on biomaterials systems for localized delivery of nanotherapeutics for bone tissue engineering and other applications. The candidate should have a strong background in biomaterials fabrication and characterization, cell culture, molecular biology, microscopy and immunohistochemistry. Experience with stem cells, exosomes, primary cell isolation and/or animal models would be a definite asset. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in the field of biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, materials engineering/science, chemistry, or a closely-related field. The appointment is for a period of 1 year, with the possibility of extending it for one more year.
