Responsibilities

Responsible to the Associate Director for the management of all technological security related functions, production of job scheduling, and internal/external ad hoc reporting as directed.

Serves as one of the Security coordinators for Campus Solutions access. Makes sure the employees have had the proper training courses. Sets up the ROW level security and approves the ROLE requests . Serves as internal contact for access inquiries.

Serves as departmental security coordinator. Maintains internal data base records and documentation on faculty and staff access authorization for management review.

Downloads, formats and reviews data to meet reporting requirements for various TEST score files. Designs and creates ad hoc student data and statistical reports for the University departments and outside businesses.

Coordinates and schedules mainframe D and Q-jobs for processing student data.

Manages the External Organization Database in Campus Solutions. Performs other duties or activities as needed/requested.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent and two years experience, or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to two years is required for consideration. Experience should be relevant and related to the responsibilities of the job. Qualified candidates will possess the ability to prioritize and organize multiple work assignments simultaneously. Qualified candidates will have experience using a variety of computer software applications.

Preferred

A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of experience related to the responsibilities of the job are preferred. We seek energetic candidates who are detail-oriented, and who work well independently as well as in a team. Candidates should have the ability to review, analyze, formulate, and organize data and information and follow through on assignments. Applicants should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and should possess a strong sense of initiative while managing multiple responsibilities concurrently. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Anticipated Salary Range

Mid to high $20,000.00's

Pay Plan

This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.

Schedule

If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
