Payroll and Personnel Coordinator

Under direction of the MSO, the Personnel Analyst is responsible for complex administrative analysis in all aspects of the employment, retention, and separation of senate and non-senate academic and staff personnel. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the personnel policies and procedures, personnel codes and payroll classifications, and enter into the on-line personnel/payroll system all personnel data for the complete employment cycle. Provide analysis of new personnel policies, procedures and practices and their impact on the department. Manage all departmental payroll activities. Interpret multiple bargaining unit contracts and convey the applicable information. Analyze and interpret complex visa and permanent residency requirements. Develop, establish and maintain a computerized database for effective recording, monitoring, controlling and retaining of personnel information. Serve as Department Benefits Representative. Responsible for managing and coordinating the faculty recruitment processes for the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (CBE) department and Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) department. Provide support on special projects as needed by the Chair(s) and/or MSO.

Salary: Hourly $23.58 - $27.82
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
