Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a twelve-month, tenure track Associate Professor or Professor of Nursing faculty position in the WellStar School of Nursing, which begins January 2019.

The WellStar School of Nursing seeks applicants for the position of Associate Professor or Professor of Nursing with expertise in adult health, community, gerontology, oncology, critical care, or palliative care nursing. The position is a 12-month, tenure-track appointment that reports to the Director of the WellStar School of Nursing, which offers undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Teaching responsibilities may be in undergraduate and graduate didactic and clinical courses. Other responsibilities include participation in ongoing curricular assessment, scholarly activities, and service in departmental, college, and university committees. Ideal candidates will possess: 1) an active RN license in Georgia or be eligible for a Georgia nursing license, 2) previous teaching experience, 3) a program of research in a focused area, 4) the ability to seek and obtain external research funding, and 5) a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Research-focused doctoral degree in nursing or a related field, or the foreign equivalent. Candidates must possess a master's degree in nursing or its foreign equivalent and have a clinical background in adult health, community, gerontology, oncology, critical care, or palliative care nursing.
