Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's Degree in molecular biology/biological sciences is required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Minimum work experience of at least 1-2 years of previous laboratory experience and experience with experimental cerebral ischemia surgery in rats/mice is required.
License or certificate:
The candidate will perform experimental focal ischemia surgery in rodents and perform other biological/molecular biology techniques such as Western blotting, tissue culture, PCR, etc., as well as lab managerial duties.

This is a terminal position lasting one year. There is a possibility it may be extended up to one additional year, or made renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment and/or funding becomes available.
