Requisition Title: Assistant / Associate / Full Professor - Endovascular Neurointerventional - 1804929
The Department of Medical Imaging at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is recruiting an Endovascular Neurointerventionalist, either an Endovascular Neurosurgeon, Interventional Neuroradiologist, or Interventional Neurologist. The anticipated start date is February 1, 2019 or sooner.
The practice includes stroke intervention, endovascular aneurysm treatment, AVM and AVF embolizations, head and neck embolizations, carotid and intracranial stenting, spine embolizations and interventions. At least a one year dedicated neurointerventional fellowship is required. The candidate will work closely with the current two endovascular neurosurgeons, as well as collaborate with neuroradiology, neurology, neurosurgery, trauma, orthopedics, otolaryngology, and oncology. The candidate should be eligible for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Sunnybrook is the largest stroke and trauma centre in Ontario. There is a biplane 3D neuroangiography suite. Four new clinical MRs are being installed, two 1.5T and two 3.0T. Four clinical CT scanners are soon to be upgraded. Two dedicated research MRs and a dedicated research PET/MR are available with basic and clinical research. There is one clinical PET/CT.

The qualified applicant should be eligible for an academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. Estimated remuneration will depend on your specialty's clinical income and will be in the range of $250,000 - $500,000 and commensurate with academic rank, qualifications and experience.
