Additional Information Purpose Serve as a member of the Donor Services Team supporting the processing of non-monetary gifts, assist with gift review and proofing, provide backup service as needed, and assist the campaign process improvement project. Essential Functions Data functions include entering non-monetary gifts and serving as back-up to the non-monetary gift coordinator; proofing TXSHOP gifts; reviewing account configuration information on historical gifts and updating as necessary; and reviewing reports on new gifts account configuration and updating as necessary. Gift Administration functions include entering OSP grants received from Foundation and Corporate Relations; proofing payroll deduction gifts on a monthly basis; approving tax-deductible items for TXSHOP and proofing TXSHOP gifts in VIP; managing QADD duplicates created in TXSHOP by cross-referencing, combining and deleting records; and imaging pledge and matching paperwork. Serving as backup to proofers for all gifts as determined by high-volume processing times. Marginal/Incidental functions Other related functions as assigned. Required qualifications Bachelor's degree. A combination of one year of experience assisting with fundraising programs or performing complex administrative functions. Experience working with databases, and working with confidential information. High degree of proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office. Demonstrated excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interface effectively with a wide variety of personnel. Experience working in a diverse environment, maintaining customer focus, and implementing continuous quality improvements. Must be able to work well under pressure and with deadlines, independently, and without day-to-day supervision. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
