The Administrative Specialist III ls responsible for coordinating office activities; processing paperwork for faculty and students; researching and preparing special reports; and developing, revising, and implementing administrative policies and procedures as directed by the supervisor. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize, process, and maintain records of Teacher Education candidates seeking program admission and licensure
- Enter and maintain budgets for the office in a timely manner, which requires creating reports to verify budget information, and monitoring expenditures related to the budget
- Enter and maintain data for Praxis exams in database program to facilitate access of reports
- Maintain the Director’s Calendar and assist Director with meetings, reports, and etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge of computers and software applications with proficiency in Microsoft Office and record keeping procedures, the principles and practices of mathematics and statistics
Ability to prepare, present, and review oral and written information and reports, develop, plan, and implement short and long-term office goals, analyze financial records and prepare reports, establish and maintain filing systems and operate standard office equipment, and plan, organize, and direct the work of others
Skills in organizing, prioritizing, and implementing projects.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Regular and reliable attendance
Complete all final copies of the Federal Title ll report card, Teacher Education Program Assessment Report, Exit Evaluation Report, Institutional Summary Report, Follow-Up Report and Teacher Intern Handbooks.
The formal education equivalent of a High School Diploma
One (1) year of specialized training in Business Management, Business Education, or a related field
Three (3) years of experience in specialized or a related field applicable to work performed.
Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or parts of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
