Position Summary: The primary purpose of the Regional Climatologist position is to provide weather and climate information to clients and decision-makers across the Southeast region. This is accomplished through active monitoring of current climate conditions, societal impacts, and long-term trends; supervision and coordination of an applied research program; and development of climate-based tools and products. The Regional Climatologist will be responsible for disseminating this information through reports, manuscripts, alert systems, web-based interfaces, and various media outlets.

Education Requirements:

Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
