Job description

Duties: Directly reporting to the Director of Development, the Assistant Director of Development & Alumni Relations for Grant Management, Stewardship and Planned Giving will work with the entire Development team and other ICA staff as needed to research, plan and execute submission of grant proposals, progress updates and final reports, plan and execute stewardship letters and reports, and plan and execute planned giving mailings and events. This position will also write and edit other briefings, remarks and campaign materials as needed. This position will be responsible for donor recognition on all printed and electronic promotion and advertising.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. We are seeking a
professional who is team-oriented with the ability to manage several overlapping projects and priorities simultaneously while paying attention to the smallest of details. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills. Ability to work proactively, to initiate and complete projects with limited supervision, and to work independently and as a member of a team as part of an intensely metric and goal-oriented department. Experience with research, proposal writing and stewardship is required. The job candidate should have experience and competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and donor database programs. An interest in arts and culture and the language of contemporary art will be considered a plus.
