BOX OFFICE MANAGER

Job description

Duties: Reporting directly to the Annenberg Center's Director of Marketing & Ticketing, the Box Office Manager is responsible for managing all operations of the Annenberg Center's Box Office, servicing all Annenberg Center Live and rental events. The Box Office Manager is responsible for hiring, training, supervising and evaluating a staff of 15+ student employees as well as supervising a part-time Box Office Supervisor. The Box Office Manager is a vital member of the Annenberg Center's marketing team and works strategically with all members of the department to increase ticket sales, improve customer retention and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications: Associates Degree or two year college degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred with 3 to 5 years experience in ticket office sales and ticket management (with a minimum of 2 years at a supervisory/manager level). Strong knowledge of Tessitura, and knowledge of Excel preferred. Knowledge of the performing arts a plus. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and previous experience delivering excellent customer service a must. Ability to be productive and calm under pressure, with strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Must have the ability to interact positively with others in a team-oriented environment. Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
