Advertised Job Summary: - Coordinate pre-employment and employment process: background checks, drug-screen including random process, and driving records. Maintains the driving records for the identified university drivers. Administers the tuition assistance program and processes employment verification requests. - Manage the on-campus student job vacancy, recruitment and hiring process. Develop and provide hiring managers with guidelines, policies, procedures and training for all aspects of student employment including the federal work-study program and non-citizen student, excluding workers compensation. Develop communication methods to promote and assist students in getting positions to support students and departments, and the university in spending designated federal funds awarded each year. Develop and implement process to work with the Financial Aid Office to utilize timely and accurate information to drive the FWS employment process. Prepare and provide analysis through timely and accurate designated reporting to HR Director and Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration. - Support the Human Resources office and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree and 2 years experience in human resources management experience. Successful background check is required.
