Career Engagement Educator

This position is only available to current UCI employees.

The Career Engagement Educator will foster career readiness of targeted UCI students by building and sustaining relationships across campus and throughout the employer community. The educator will provide direct and customized service for UCI's students via programs, outreach, advising, and the creation of online resources. The educator will determine the most popular 5-10 employer sectors for their student populations and build expertise in them through research and by engaging employers in programming and events.

While reporting to the Division of Career Pathways, the Career Engagement Educator will ideally carry out services at other campus locations or UCI Schools where their constituents gather. The educator will proactively build relationships with academic and student services departments, faculty, student organizations to discover and support student career services needs. The specialist will serve on relevant committees and advisory boards. The incumbent will create and enact strategies to better coordinate cross-campus career services efforts as they relate to their constituents with those of the Division of Career Pathways.

Salary: Range $25.96 - $27.00
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
