Field Experience Supervisors (Principal/Supervisor Licensure Program)

Job description

The Graduate Education Program at Curry College invites applications for part-time field experience supervisors beginning in the spring semester for the initial administrator licensure programs in Principal/Vice Principal, all levels; Special Education Administrator, all levels; and Supervisor/Director, all levels, all subjects.

Applicants should possess teaching and administrative experience working in areas of principal/vice principal, special education administrator, or supervisor/director, as well as a strong understanding of instructional leadership, management and operations, family and community engagement, and professional culture.  Additionally, applicants should be familiar with the DESE standards for administrator preparation and evaluation.  Also helpful is knowledge of the Massachusetts Performance Assessment for Leaders.  Applicants from the Boston area and points north are especially sought. Minimum Qualifications:

  • This position requires a minimum of a Master's Degree in Education or related discipline;
  • Prior teaching experience;
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of administrative experience in Massachusetts schools/districts.
  • Familiarity with DESE standards for administrator preparation and evaluation
