The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Office of Cybersecurity provides a variety of IT Security services for UW-Madison and UW-System. These services include Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC), Security Testing and Cyber Defense (TCD), Monitoring and Incident Response, Security Operations, and Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA).
With the assistance of the SETA Program Lead, the SETA Analyst will carry out duties in support of the Office of Cybersecurity's SETA Program, reinforcing the functions of all cybersecurity domains, and working closely with the SETA lead and other campus leaders.
The Analyst will rapidly learn about cybersecurity topics in order to effectively develop that information into technically focused articles and communications for a variety of campus audiences. Analysts will be expected to convey security awareness information to faculty, staff, and students with the goal of educating and raising awareness across many campus communities.
A successful candidate should demonstrate strong written and oral communications abilities, attention to detail, the ability to glean knowledge in a fast-paced work environment, creativity in their approach to educational efforts, and a desire to develop a detailed understanding of cybersecurity concepts, best practices, and domains.
Monday - Friday 7:45am - 4:30pm

* 1 year of experience in information technology training, cybersecurity preferred.

* Demonstrated success with complex strategic and/or technical analysis.
