Degree and Area of Specialization:

Masters Degree required in Comparative Biomedical Sciences, Zoology, or related field



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

1+ years experience in Neural Engineering research or related field required. Superior organizational and leadership skills necessary. Non-human primate, rabbit, rat, and mice handling experience a necessity. Neural implant surgery adn electrophysiology experience preferred. Supervisory experience desireable.

Applicant must exhibit the ability to work independently and to adapt to various research methodologies. Experience with computer applications such as Windows XP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Power Point, and Matlab are essential as well.



License or certificate:

AALAT certification preferred



Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for managing the research and fiscal activities of the William's lab and Neural Engineering Group.
