Laboratory Technician Senior

Job description



The Department of Psychology is seeking a Laboratory Technician Senior to assist with an NIH-funded longitudinal study of psychological and physical health. The primary responsibilities will be to ensure that follow-up visits are scheduled by interviewers and all materials are available and ready for the interviewers; log materials and enter data after the interviews and coordinate with laboratories analyzing biological samples; and work closely and well with team members.

Minor lifting of supply cartons, prolonged time standing and/or sitting at workstation.



Shift

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; occasional evenings or weekends.

Preferred Education/Experience

Prefer at least 1 year experience with large research studies with human participants and regulatory compliance. Human subjects research institutional certification is preferred
