PCC Finance and Administration


Responsible for designing, preparing and analyzing fiscal and budgetary reports and summaries; serves as campus-wide liaison to departments for fiscal activity for all budget types; assists departments with researching issues and recommending solutions or corrections; interacts with Tallahassee campus when necessary; prepares specialized financial reports and budget analysis for auxiliary programs.

Reviews and prepares monthly ledger reconciliations and assists staff who reconcile ledgers; prepares biweekly payroll verification and justification report for initial and final cost center report for the entire Panama City Campus; oversees annual property inventory and reconciliation; provides guidance to all constituencies on campus; and other duties as required by the position.


Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalency and six years of experience.

(Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Knowledge of and ability to apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Knowledge of electronic data processing as it applies to fiscal and accounting activities.

Ability to perform accurately in a detail oriented environment.

Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions including Microsoft Office Suite.


Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
