This position will be responsible for merging and reviewing data from the database into a spreadsheet or word processing document for accuracy of information; including donor identify, fund to credit, and preference of communication method.
Performs entry of data into University database in support of the Alumni Association membership, event and gift processing programs. Assist in research using a variety of resources to identify donors and their relationships, with mindfulness of the tax, donor stewardship and reporting implications of their work.
Reviews, proofreads and analyzes data for accuracy, logic and relevance. Reconciles financial data in a variety of formats, to ensure cohesive bookkeeping with the accounting database. Creates and updates records, gifts, pledges, memberships and event registrations. Performs queries and export/import in the database.
Maintains information in a variety of formats including network files and digital documents.
Use a variety of on-line resources for research and problem-solving purposes. Uses resources to track history of the problem area to determine the cause and develop a solution that will address the current issue, prevent similar problems and improve system functioning.
Protects confidential information.
High school diploma/equivalency and two years of experience working in a fiscal environment with data entry responsibilities; or coursework in a Financial or Accounting major or relevant BA.
Previous experience with Blackbaud's CRM or Citrix Raiser's Edge environment a plus.
Proficiency in a network environment with a variety of software applications to include, Excel, Word, Email and Web navigation.
Incumbent must be able to understand complex concepts, have the capacity to process a large and diverse volume of data with a high level of accuracy; have an aptitude for understanding how information and business rules are structured and have a strong math and language skill to include spelling and grammar.
Candidate must possess good organizational, administrative and communication skills to include verbal and written proficiency as well as be customer service oriented and have an effective interpersonal approach.
Candidate must occasionally exert up to 20 lbs. of force and frequently up to 10 lbs. of force to move objects.
A valid Florida or Georgia driver's license is required for this position as incumbent will be required to attend meetings both on and off campus.
This is an OPS/temporary Job.
Expected daily schedule flexible, between 9:00AM-1:30PM, roughly 20 hours a week.
