Patient Services Coordinator/UKHC

Job description



The department of Obstetrics and Gynecology-Oncology is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator.

This position will coordinate patient visits and provide administrative and office support to a faculty member in the Division of GYN/ONC.

Duties include scheduling academic appointments and travel arrangements for faculty, scheduling patient appointments, answer and screen phone calls, insurance precertification and provide physician clinical support.

Requires strong computer skills, detail-oriented, excellent interpersonal skills, have knowledge of UK procedures and systems, and the ability to work well with faculty and staff, as well as outside referring physicians and their staff.
