HR Customer Service Team Member

Position Summary: This position serves as an independent and effective HR practitioner working as a member of the University of Georgia Office of Human Resources Workforce Administration Department in the Customer Service Center. The incumbent will be expected to provide information, advice or guidance and support to managers, supervisors, staff, and faculty, keeping abreast of HR issues, identifying areas of concern, and recommending/implementing solutions. This is a highly responsible position and will collaborate with team members to provide efficient and effective HR services to the university community. This individual works with supervisors and employees to provide accurate advice and consultation to university employees, supervisors, and management. They interpret policies, procedures, laws, and regulations for departments university-wide. **This is a full-time limited term position ending in January 2020 with potential to become permanent positions**

Responsibilities: - Provides a range of human resources support as front line support in the HR Customer Service Center - Provides welcoming and front facing contact with incoming visitors to HR. - Answer HR phone calls and triage to the correct department. Making referrals when appropriate - Answer HR requests online and resolve or triage to correct department via ticketing system. Be able to log and create tickets by data entry to assist with campus needs.

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college/university with a Bachelor's degree and 1 or more years of experience in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
