Account Clerk IV

Job description



This Account Clerk IV will provide reconciliation of daily income and monthly financial data, review and approve patient refunds and Lending Club charges and fees, modify payments, CKMS retrievals charge backs, credit adjustments, and other financial duties.

The person in this position will do Daily Deposit Reconciliation, which requires good accounting and analytical skillset. The successful candidate will manually process Patient Refunds to the Lending Club, which have to be completed within a very short time frame per our contract. The successful candidate will also post payment reversals, Post CKMS payments in AxIum, post RCCs (credit card refunds), perform patient accounts receivable review, review credit adjustments, review small balance adjustments not processed automatically, reviewing patient refunds processed through the AxiUm automated system weekly, review small balance adjustments made weekly through the automated system, make account adjustments as needed, review and process accounts for turnover to CKMS, back-up for daily processes, fill in when staff are on vacation or out for extended periods of time, and additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds, and standing/walking for long periods of time. Regular repetitive motion (50% or more of the time).

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Account reconciliations, excellent analytical skills, accuracy, attention to detail, organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Experience with Account Reconciliations in a medical/dental setting and the Lending Club Online System highly preferred.
