Advertised Job Summary: Assistant Director of Compliance & Legal Services, reports to the Associate AD / Director of Compliance for compliance issues and the Sr. Associate AD / Senior Counsel for Legal issues. This position works in conjunction with OCS staff to implement NCAA, SEC and USC regulations. Duties include but are not limited to providing interpretative assistance to coaches, administrators, student-athletes and representatives of the University, developing and/or implementing rules education curriculum to provide effective updates on relevant legislation for administrators, student-athletes and representatives of the University; developing and/or implementing monitoring systems to ensure compliance w/ NCAA, SEC and USC regulations and representing OCS at selected department and University meetings. This position also assists w/ the intake, processing and tracking of Athletics Department sport-specific contracts, waivers and leases.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Master's degree and 1 year related program experience, or bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience. Compliance experience in college athletics at an institution, conference or national association level.
