Communications and Events Officer

Under the direction of the AUL for Administrative Services, and in close consultation with the University Librarian and the Libraries Director of Development, the Communications and Events Officer is responsible for implementing a strategic communication and marketing plan for the Libraries and for planning and facilitating special events. The position works closely with the Libraries' Director of Development regarding donor related events and communications, serves as a liaison to campus Strategic Communications, and ensures alignment with campus and library level communications policies and procedure. The incumbent is also responsible for creating and managing library-wide marketing/promotion events to engage and educate various entities. The Communications and Events Officer oversee the budget for the Communications and Events unit, which also may include support for Libraries' Development related activities, and supervises two staff.

Salary: Monthly $4,968.58 - $6,755.83
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
Career Position.
Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends and early mornings for development events and meetings.
