Microbiology: Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in Epidemiology to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in epidemiology and introductory microbiology; develop an externally funded research program (laboratory or field based); advise students; and provide service to the university. Position begins August 2019.
Require: Doctoral in Epidemiology or related field by date of appointment.
Consideration may be given to those candidates with evidence of past research accomplishments with a strong potential to obtain extramural funding; background in infectious disease epidemiology or public health experience; the ability to achieve excellence in teaching and mentoring; and a willingness to contribute to curricular development.
