Co-Coordinator, Nursing Science Lab
The College of Nursing and Health Professions invites applications for an enthusiastic individual for the Co-Coordinator of the Nursing Science Lab position. This part-time, temporary, staff position will be responsible for providing quality support services within the Nursing Science Labs, to a diverse graduate student population and faculty in the College. The Co-Coordinator of the Nursing Science Lab will develop and maintain procedures for: cleaning, storing and maintaining all clinical lab equipment; updating inventory of all clinical lab equipment and supplies and the borrowing and returning of lab equipment. The Co-Coordinator will also train supervise graduate assistants in equipment preparation, maintenance, disinfection and cleaning, inventory, retrieval, and storage. Collaboration is important in this role, as the Co-Coordinator collaborates with lead faculty of all courses with a lab component and assists faculty in the delivery of lab-related content courses.

A BSN required, MSN preferred. The equivalent of two years of full time, current clinical nursing experience is required. Previous experience with simulated manikins or interest in professional development to increase knowledge of computerized simulation in the lab. Licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state of Illinois or eligibility for it with the application in process is required.
