Cinema, Television, and Media Production Tenure Track Position
The Department of Cinema, Television and Media Production at Kutztown University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position beginning Fall 2019. Conveniently located two hours form New York City and 1.5 hours from Philadelphia, Kutztown University is home to a thriving Cinema, Television and Media Production program focusing on creative storytelling and hands-on production skills. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: one year of industry-related experience, one year of college level teaching experience, and a terminal degree in a related field completed by May 31, 2019. Preferred: a television production background.
Courses to be taught may include Fundamentals of Studio Production, Audio Production, Video Lighting, Live Event Production, and Intro to Cinema, Television and Media Production. Successful tenure-track faculty members in our department must also advise students, contribute service to the university, and present and publish scholarly/creative work.
