Bachelor's degree required, health or biological science preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

At least one year in health-related research and data collection preferred. Knowledge of medical
terminology and procedures preferred.

Position Summary:

This position will provide research support and study coordination for studies in the Division of
Nephrology. The incumbent will coordinate the complex administrative requirements of assigned
studies and assist investigators and other staff in conducting the studies according to protocol
including patient recruitment, data and specimen collection, and assist the Principal Investigator in
conduct of NIH and clinical trial human subjects research in accordance with Good Clinical Practice,
OSHA and applicable clinical research federal regulations.

Additional Information:

Candidates should be detail oriented and possess excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and
organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently
and experience and comfort with the use of technology required.
Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for recruitment and consenting subjects or
assisting subjects.
Incumbent will be expected to become well versed in the Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and UW
regulations governing conduct of studies with human subjects in this institution and in the United
