The Department of Ophthalmology currently seeks a Post-Doctoral Fellow for the Laboratory of Advanced Ophthalmic Imaging, CellSight, in Denver, Colorado. The focus of the lab is on research for development of new and innovative in vivo ophthalmic imaging systems at CellSight. The lab is currently seeking a Postdoc who is highly motivated and accomplished in design and construction of interferometric and multiphoton microscopes and has (or anticipates having) a recent Ph.D. or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical engineering, or a related field.
Infectious Materials/Human Blood or Bodily Fluids
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a PhD/Masters in one of these fields Electrical Engineering, Optics, Physics, or related field
- Two years of progressive experience in design and implementation of optical coherence tomography and/or multiphoton microscopy
- Experience in design and implementation of adaptive optics in ophthalmic research.
- Experience with ultrafast and nonlinear optics.
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Proven ability to work independently within a research lab
- Demonstrated proficiency and excellence in Matlab or Python.
