GENERAL SUMMARY Coordinate College of Business graduate student recruitment and admissions, including planning and implementation of educational outreach recruitment activities, pre-admission interviews and counseling of prospective applicants on the admissions process.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain a thorough understanding of COB graduate degree programs and services.

Respond to phone, in-person, and email inquiries from students, faculty, staff, outside agencies, and the public, regarding graduate admissions criteria and application process.

Host and attend student recruiting events and follow-up with contacts gained during each event; maintain metrics on such recruiting activities and share as needed.

Assist in the planning and delivery of other events for prospective and newly admitted COB graduate students.

Work with the COB graduate programs staff to ensure recruited students have a smooth experience from the application process through to enrollment.

On a timely basis, process admissions decisions for completed COB graduate applications based on established criteria.

Regularly track incomplete applications and assist applicants with application process.

Serve as liaison with the University's Admissions Office for graduate applications.

Periodically provide data on admissions inquiries, applications, and yield rate as needed by staff for AACSB and other requirements

Maintain and keep current graduate information on COB's website.

Adhere to any and all NCAA, Mid-American Conference and Eastern Michigan University policies, rules, regulations, and operational procedures.

Perform related departmental duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in Business, Higher Education, or related field and at least two years' experience working in an academic or business projects environment is required.

Demonstrated organizational skills are required; must be very detail oriented.

Demonstrated effective customer relations skills are required.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex information to a diverse demographic community which includes students, faculty, and staff from multiple racial, ethnic, national, religious and economic backgrounds is required.

Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing strategies such as social media, search engine, web-based, and/or email marketing is required.

Excellent presentation skills are required.

Effective conflict management skills are required.

Demonstrated proficiency in computer software programs including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel is required; Experience utilizing Banner, and Business Objects (BOE) is preferred.

Knowledge and experience using CRM for leading tracking is highly desirable.

Ability to plan and implement programs and projects is required.

Previous experience and knowledge in calculating GPAs is desirable.

Experience with and knowledge of international admissions policies is desirable.

Knowledge and understanding of University, State, and Federal policies, systems, procedures, and regulations are desirable. Familiarity with AACSB standards is desirable.
