Lecturer

Job description

The Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education at Princeton University has an occasional need for lecturers to teach or co-teach courses in the areas of design thinking and entrepreneurship. Course offerings range from design thinking courses such as "Creativity, Innovation and Design" to entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship courses such as "Entrepreneurial Leadership" and "Policy Entrepreneurship for the 21st Century." The co-curricular offerings at the Keller Center include summer internships, the Summer Accelerator Program of eLab, the TigerChallenge program in design thinking and campus events such as a lecture series and the annual Innovation Forum. Additionally, there is broad, student-led programming coordinated through groups such as the Entrepreneurship Club and the Princeton Social Entrepreneurship Initiative and initiatives by individual faculty and students. 

Appointment is expected to begin February 1, 2019 or September 1, 2019, with the possibility of renewal based on student enrollments and the needs of the Keller Center. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Applications should include 1: the candidate's curriculum vitae; 2: a career statement that includes past experiences/research; 3: a teaching statement that includes past teaching and teaching philosophy; 4: the names and contact information for three references that can comment on the nominee's qualifications and experiences relevant to the proposed activities. Letters will later be solicited for any top candidates.
