Duties and Responsibilities Associate Dean for the SON; Director for the BSN program.Associate Dean for the SON responsibilities:Accreditation:Coordinate CCNE Accreditation for BSNAssist with ASN Accreditation activitiesAssist with WVBOERPN AccreditationMonitor accreditation standards Teaching:3 -4 credit hours teaching each semesterAdvise prospective students and ASN transition students onlyProgram Development:Look at potential for different tracks in ASN and BSN programLook at potential for MSN programLook at alternate delivery format optionsLook at twice a year admission/graduationLook at anything else that may make programs marketableAssessment:Coordinate all SON assessment plansChair POEC CommitteeData planning and trendingPreparing advisory board reportingCoordinate administration of all surveys and evaluation toolsOversee taskstream data entryDocument program level assessment plan and resultsOversee master plans of evaluationPrepare annual outcome report for ASN and BSN programs for facultyCurriculum: Ex-officio member BSN Curriculum CommitteeEx-officio member ASN Curriculum Committee ChairProgram-specific administration:SON Grievance trackingMentor new faculty membersStore BSN files & dataOversee assessment processes for SON:Develop and/or refine assessment processes including data collection, analysis, and providing recommendations for program improvements to appropriate committeesMonitor and assist faculty with Taskstream data entry, analysis and bringing forth recommendations for course or program improvements. Chair POEC Committee and assist faculty with data analysis and recommendationsOther administration:Maintain agency contractsCEU Provider informationAdvisory Board MeetingOrganize shared driveVice-chair of SON faculty committeeAssist with workloads & course schedules, budgetOrganize & delegate open houses & recruiting eventsADDNE memberHiring managerAttend Dean's council meetings when necessaryPerform related duties as necessary and as assigned.

Minimum Required Education Doctorate with an MSN.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications Licensed as RN in WV.

Type and Amount of Experience Needed Five (5) years of experience in ASN/BSN program. Three (3) years of administrative experience.
