Supervisor I (12mo) - Dining - Kennesaw Campus
Supervises the service of meals, set up, upkeep and effective sanitation of all service areas. Assigns and trains utility workers, and student employees to offer smooth, efficient, and courteous service. Under direction of the chefs, responsible for the handling of leftover food, advanced preparation, and the cleaning of the kitchen to include sanitizing of equipment. Supervises and performs custodial tasks including daily, periodic, and concentrated cleaning and sanitizing of all areas, particularly food service areas, food preparation, equipment, storage areas, kitchens, floors, walls, furniture, windows, etc. in accordance with university, county, state, and federal safety and sanitation policies. Required to ensure food quality, including tasting food for QC. Other duties as assigned. Performs administrative work supervising a small or functional area within a department, division or college.

This is a 12 month, full time, fully-benefited position working at our Kennesaw campus.
Funding for this position is based on revenue generated funds and therefore continued employment is based on availability of these funds
Undergraduate degree OR 2 years college coursework and 1 year experience OR High School diploma and 3 years experience.
Three years’ experience, including supervision and food preparation in a high-volume dining facility or similar operation.
