Customer Service Specialist I - Dining Commons, Kennesaw Campus (10mo & 12mo)

Job description

The Customer Service Specialist I is a key component to ensuring a positive guest experience in our dining hall. Serving as the first point of customer contact, this individual has the functional responsibility of ensuring proper meal plan deductions from student ID badges, but will also be flexible to support other duties as assigned, including dining room attendant responsibilities, cleaning tables, wiping counters, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests.

The Dining Commons located on the Kennesaw Campus is currently recruiting for the position of Customer Service Specialist I (Cashier) to join the Dining Services team. Positions available are a mix of 10-month and 12-month positions, with part-time and full-time opportunities. Multiple positions available!

  • Maintains neat and professional appearance.
  • Communicates customer requests to management.
  • Maintains awareness of daily menu items and knowledge of meal plans.
  • Required to ensure food quality, including tasting food for QC.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Funding for this position is based on revenue generated funds and therefore continued employment is based on availability of these funds.



At least 1 year of customer service and/or cashier experience in the food service or retail industry preferred.
