Job Description

The Montclair State University BFA in Filmmaking program invites applications for adjuncts to teach a wide range of courses in digital film production, screenwriting, story analysis, and advanced post production. Responsibilities include teaching beginning, intermediate, or advanced level film production, screenwriting, and narrative web/tv form courses, giving students the craft, and ability to make and plan film projects in class and outside of class with their colleagues.

The successful candidates will be working professionals, have college-level teaching experience, and be expected to continue to pursue their creative and professional activities

Qualifications & Requirements


Applicants must have a terminal degree and evidence of rich industry experience and successful university teaching experience.
