Degree and Area of Specialization:

Ph.D. degree in biological sciences, preferably Reproductive Physiology



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Candidate must have at least five years experience as a clinical embryologist and at least two years of supervisory experience in an accredited clinical IVF laboratory. Candidates for associate professor (CHS) rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track.

Academic credentials and experience for appointment at the selected rank. Candidates for associate or full professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW Madison guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track.



License or certificate:

Board Certification by the American Association of Bioanalysis as a High-complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD) OR in the process of fulfilling requirement for certification.



Position Summary:

The Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) Laboratory Director is responsible for the overall operation of the Laboratories of Assisted Reproductive Technologies including administration of the laboratory, employment of personnel and compliance with applicable regulations.
