No degree required.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Must have three or more years of banquet catering or restaurant management experience.
Food preparation and presentation skills.
Proven experience training, coaching and developing staff.
Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills as well as attention to details required.



License or certificate:

Must have an Owner/Operator Bartender and ServeSafe Certification or be able to obtain within six months of hire.



Position Summary:

Responsible for the planning, organizing and directing of all catered events at the Pyle Center, providing a high level of customer service. Food service at the Pyle Center consists of buffets, plated meals, bars and receptions, production facilities and a dishroom operation. Management of food, wage and material costs and service standards. Provide supervision of permanent and part time staff.
