Associate Professor Oral Pathology in Diagnostic and Biological Sciences Department

The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine (CUSDM) is currently seeking applicants for a full-time, clinical or tenure track position at the rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Diagnostic and Biological Sciences. Responsibilities and opportunities include directing courses that integrate general and oral pathology as a thread of the school's new integrated curriculum model, scholarly activities, service and possible participation in the School's Dental Faculty Practice.
The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine is located on the Anschutz Medical campus, one of the nation's newest comprehensive academic health science centers that includes Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health; a College of Nursing, a Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the two nationally ranked hospitals, Children's Hospital Colorado, and the University of Colorado Hospital.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a DDS/DMD from a CODA accredited U.S. or foreign equivalent; completion of a CODA approved Oral Pathology Residency Program, Board Certification in Oral Pathology and eligibility for a Colorado dental license or Academic licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have academic experience; have experience in interprofessional curricular elements and the integration of basic science concepts with clinical dentistry; a demonstrated commitment to working in a collaborative and multi-cultural environment; and must be committed to the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.
